Camp Daggett on Walloon Lake - Northern Michigan Camp

5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Over 900 people experienced the solitude of the wilderness as they snowshoed by torchlight at Camp Daggett. In January there was a full moon over Walloon Lake as well!  After going out on the  trail in the cold snowshoers came into the main lodge for a cup of hot chocolate, freshly baked cookies and to warm-up by the crackling fire in large stone fireplace.

This event is sponsored by Bearcub Outfitters to promote all that Camp Daggett offers children and the community. Raffle tickets for great Bearcub products were available with all proceeds going to Camp Daggett. Admission is free, donations are encouraged, and snowshoes are available for all ages!

We had the best weather in years for these events.  Watch for it again in 2014!
