Summer Camp Information

The Camp Daggett summer program consists of 8 one week coed sessions for campers 7 through 14 years of age.  Our Sunday through Saturday camp sessions begin in mid-June and conclude in mid-August.  Upon arrival, campers will quickly feel right at home as they meet their counselors and cabin mates and settle in to their bunks in our rustic cabins.  Friendship, camaraderie and excitement grow quickly as campers participate in some fun games and watch as our amazing staff share a little bit of what to expect for the week ahead through skits and song.  While a week may seem like a long time, this unforgettable experience is sure to fly by as it is filled with learning, laughter, adventure, positive experiences, new friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

While at Camp Daggett, campers can expect to participate in a wide variety of activities designed to give each camper the opportunity to learn new skills, share special talents and abilities, and to step out of their comfort zone to try new and exciting things.

Activities include:

  • Sailing, Swimming, Canoeing & Fishing
  • Arts and Crafts, Pottery & Music
  • Group Sports, Recreation & Archery
  • Nature Study, Hikes & Animal Education
  • Camp-Outs & Camp Fire Cooking
  • Team Building & Low/High Ropes Challenge Courses

In addition to the quality programming and opportunities available at Camp Daggett, each camper will also be treated to nutritious and delicious meals served daily in our beautiful Mac Hall dinning room overlooking Walloon Lake.  And if necessary, our Health Director is available 24 hours a day to provide comfort and care to any camper who may need it.

A week at Camp Daggett is sure to offer countless opportunities and memories that will last a lifetime, and we strongly believe that the Summer Camp experience provides every child with a unique and positive environment in which to live, learn and grow.  It is the goal of the Camp Daggett Summer Program to instill in every child, feelings of accomplishment, acceptance, respect (for self and others), and courage.  And with each new year, and these important traits at the ready, it is our hope that campers will join us on the shores of Walloon Lake full of anticipation for the unknown, eagerness for the experiences ahead of them, and excitement for all that is yet to come. We are certain, that your child will leave Camp Daggett with all of this, and much, much more.
