Meet David Meyer, a proud native of Petoskey, Michigan, where his family has been in the hardware business for four generations, now known as Meyer Ace Hardware. David has been happily married to Cathy for forty-seven years, and they have raised three children: Emerson, Jonathan, and Laura. Their family has grown with the blessings of eight grandchildren, ranging in age from six and up, with seven of them being girls.

David's connection to Camp Daggett dates back to his youth when he spent summers across the lake and attended a two-week session with his twin brother, Dale. While some of his children have been involved with the camp, his grandchildren are eagerly awaiting their turn to attend.

David is enthusiastic about the leadership role Camp Daggett plays in providing opportunities for youth to flourish. He looks forward to the positive impact the camp will continue to have on generations to come.
