Meet Margaret

Margaret Bowers embodies the spirit of "The Other Fellow First," a principle she holds dear and applies in all aspects of her life. Her connection to Camp Daggett spans over two decades, beginning with the remarkable experiences her son enjoyed during his seven years at the camp. These formative years sparked a deep desire in Margaret to contribute to the organization beyond her son's time as a camper.

Throughout her involvement, Margaret has immersed herself in the camp's mission and activities, finding great joy and fulfillment in the process. One of her most cherished roles is belaying young children on the high course, where she gets to witness firsthand the excitement and growth of the campers. This hands-on engagement not only allows her to support the campers in overcoming their fears but also reinforces her commitment to fostering a positive and enriching environment at Camp Daggett.

Margaret’s dedication to the camp and its values is evident in her active participation and enthusiasm for the camp's various programs. Her long-standing involvement reflects a deep-seated passion for nurturing the next generation and making a lasting impact on their lives through the unique experiences Camp Daggett provides.
