Meet Ross

Meet Ross, whose journey through life has defied conventional wisdom and enriched his family's experiences in ways he never imagined. While his dad once advised him to stick with one job, Ross embraced the diversity of opportunities that came his way, with Camp Daggett being a significant part of his path.

From volunteering to cook for Boyne City School days at Camp, to becoming a trusted vendor, hosting memorable family reunions and weddings at the lodge, and now actively volunteering, Ross's involvement with Camp has been multifaceted and deeply meaningful for his family.

Ross holds a profound appreciation for the visionaries who initially deeded the Camp Daggett property, recognizing their foresight and generosity that continues to shape the future. Being part of this legacy, no matter how small his role may seem, fills Ross with immense pride.

Despite the challenges posed by Covid, Ross finds joy in the memories of his time at Camp, especially the joy of welcoming campers on Sundays and ensuring their safety during health screenings.

Ross's journey with Camp Daggett embodies the spirit of community, stewardship, and the enduring legacy of those who came before him. His dedication and passion reflect the heart and soul of Camp Daggett, ensuring its impact will be felt for generations to come.
